On July 15, 2025, Son Ha Trading and Mechanical Co., Ltd., together with its consortium partner Rotes Technical Engineering JSC, officially signed a contract to provide Operation and Maintenance (O&M) manpower services with Vung Ang II Thermal Power LLC (VAPCO).
The BOT Vung Ang II Thermal Power Plant Project (capacity of 1200MW), located in the Vung Ang Economic Zone, is a key national energy project. It applies supercritical technology to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and improve efficiency, in line with Vietnam’s sustainable development orientation. In addition to providing on-site personnel, the Consortium will also arrange standby manpower as agreed for quick response, including overhauls, minor maintenance, and incident handling at the plant, ensuring maximum support for the owner’s operation and maintenance activities.
Beyond manpower supply, with strengths in insulation, scaffolding, and the advantage of extensive warehouse facilities, scaffolding systems, and machinery located in Vung Ang Ward, Son Ha is always ready to provide materials, assembly services, and equipment rental not only during the execution of this contract but also for other partners in the Vung Ang Industrial Zone, and various other industrial zones nationwide.
This milestone affirms Son Ha’s role as a trusted partner of major corporations, contributing to the sustainable growth of enterprises and the national energy sector.
